Taryn Duenes
Taryn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who brings a strengths-based compassion forward mindset to her work. She believes in the transformative process of therapy and is deeply committed to create a safe space for you to share freely and be heard.
Taryn’s approach is to meet clients where they are to help them work through feelings of loss and grief, develop skills to confront and replace negative thoughts, explore and cope with trauma, and navigate significant life transitions. She uses a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, mindfulness, and psycho-education to empower them toward the changes they desire.
Taryn has worked with a variety of people across the spectrum of age, background and stage of life in particular adolescents and early adults. Additionally, for clients who seek a Christian perspective, Taryn can integrate their personal faith as part of the therapeutic process.
